Join us in person for our speciality cooking weeks! You'll get to experience the full Ridge program with classes, hiking, exercise classes, with the addition of daily live cooking demonstrations with our executive Chef. And the best part? You get to learn how its made, and then enjoy the food yourself! Cooking weeks are scheduled throughout the year for one week at a time. Online Cooking Weeks
Join us virtually to learn from our Chef! Online cooking weeks allow guests who have been to The Ridge to reconnect with their nutritional goals, and allows guests who have not yet experienced our program in person to get a sneak peak of what you gain by a week at The Ridge! These classes include live scheduled classes where you can ask questions virtually, as well as watching the class on demand later. Guests receive a special edition Cooking Week Shirt and recipe workbook mailed to them in advance of the week so they can join in the fun remotely!
Meet Chef Rob
Rob Daily is the Executive Chef at Movara East who creates, cooks, teaches and inspires guests with healthy yet delicious food. His love of cooking began when he was young, helping his grandmother, Nanny, cook food in her kitchen on the farm. After a career in warehouse management, he followed his dream to become a chef. Rob trained under local chefs and started working his way up the culinary ranks. Rob has held several positions in the food and beverage industry. He believes that anything is possible with food, you just have to think outside the box and say ‘how can I make this healthy?’ Rob aspires to create a work of art that tells a story with food. Rob and his wife Laura have two daughters, Paige and Charlotte. They enjoy being able to test the latest dishes that he comes up with and spending time looking for antiques, especially vintage records.
