Many guests drive to our campus, which has designated parking spaces available. The Ridge is located near several airports, including Washington Dulles, Reagan International, Charlottesville International, and Shenandoah Regional Airport. Guests from the New York Metro area can ride the train to DC or Charlottesville and then arrange ground transportation to the retreat. 

The Ridge program is a personalized wellness experience that is truly all-inclusive. Our program includes daily hiking, educational workshops covering the latest in wellness research, a wide range of fitness classes, chef-prepared nutrient dense meals, a complimentary spa service, and other optional activities like pickleball, pool classes, yoga, meditation and open gym sports. 

Absolutely! While we do have a full schedule, full participation is not required or an expectation. The Ridge provides a great work environment. 

The Ridge provides all program related transportation once you arrive. All other transportation is the responsibility of the guest.

If you cancel at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your arrival, your paid balance will be moved to a new reservation date or held on credit in your account to be used within 12 months from the date of cancellation. 

Reservations changed or canceled within 1 week (7 days) of arrival will be subject to a $300 reschedule fee, after which the remaining balance will be held on credit in your account and must be used within 12 months from the date of cancellation.   

If you change or cancel your reservation within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival, you will forfeit 50% of your 1-week payment or 50% of the 1st week of a multiple stay payment. The remaining balance paid will be held on credit in your account to be used within 12 months from the date of cancellation.

The Ridge does not issue refunds.

The Ridge is an overall wellness program that focuses on improving all aspects of your health.While we understand the societal message around weight brings new guests through our doors, our program and message was designed to support you in ways that expand far beyond weight loss. This inclusive program provides a healthy environment to jump start, reset, or continue to improve many elements of your overall wellness journey, making The the best choice for both 1-week and long term guests.

Yes. Items may be shipped directly to the Ridge within 4 weeks of your stay.

Please see our complete packing list below. There are two washers and two dryers for your complimentary use in guest housing. We strongly encourage guests to check current weather conditions and temperatures at The Ridge prior to arrival to ensure proper clothing is brought.

Guests needing a reset are very successful with a 1 week stay. If you are just beginning a fitness program or if your intention is to lose weight, it is best to stay 2 weeks or more to allow time to get a great foundation in place to continue your progress at home.
